Sheila Phicil (“I,” “me,” “my”) operates sheilaphicil.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and your choices.

Information I collect

When you submit a form on this Site (contact inquiry, book waitlist, or similar), I collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and any message or selections you include. I collect this information only when you actively choose to share it.

I use Netlify Analytics, a server-side analytics service, to understand general traffic patterns (page views, top pages, bandwidth). Netlify Analytics operates on the server and does not place cookies on your device or track you across websites.

This Site embeds content from third-party services including YouTube and Canva. These services may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies when their content loads on a page. I encourage you to review:

How I use your information

I use the information you submit through forms to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or request
  • Send you updates about my book, events, tools, and work (only when you have opted in)
  • Improve the Site and my offerings

I process form submissions through GoHighLevel, a customer relationship management platform. GoHighLevel stores and processes your data on my behalf.

What I will always do

  • Keep your information for my own legitimate business purposes only
  • Honor every unsubscribe request promptly
  • Store your data with services that maintain industry-standard security practices
  • Update this policy when my practices change and note the date above

What I will never do

  • Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party
  • Use your information for retargeting, behavioral advertising, or ad networks
  • Share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes

Email communications

When you opt in through a form on this Site, you may receive emails about my book, speaking engagements, AI tools, and related work. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and I will honor that choice promptly.

Cookies

This Site does not set first-party cookies. Third-party embeds (YouTube, Canva) may set cookies through their embedded content. Your browser settings allow you to manage or block cookies at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@sheilaphicil.com. I will respond within 30 days.

If you are a Massachusetts resident, you have rights under Massachusetts data privacy law. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data I hold, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information (I do not sell personal information).

Children

This Site is designed for a general adult audience. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If I learn I have collected information from someone under 16, I will delete it promptly.

Future payment processing

When payment processing becomes available on this Site, transactions will be handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. I will update this section when payments go live.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
